And they should. I read through the House proposal, HR3200, and it is down right nasty. Congress has the chance to finally pass some real health care reform. However, they are rushing things through without really addressing the issues. The Democrats see an opportunity to create a massive health insurance program and that is it. Without tort reform, Medicare/Medicaid abuse, and a system where individuals are responsible for paying their way, this legislation will not make it. If it does in the current form, it will be the biggest taking of the haves and giving it to the have nots. The have nots need to learn that health insurance comes prior to cable tv and fancy cars and the tax payers will not flip the bill for them.
