Will there be justice or just business as usual?

A couple of months ago, when this blog site was just in its infancy, the very first post was "Shut Up!" which was (and continues to be) advice to former Vice President Dick Cheney.
This guy seems to keep popping up and getting right into the middle of controversy.
First, it was the torture issue regarding the water boarding of suspected terrorists. Now it is the fact that Cheney himself told the CIA to keep Congress in the dark regarding activities of the former Bush Administration's activities with the CIA regarding the "taking out" of enemies world wide.
Sounds like something out of a James Bond movie.
Cheney is in his own world and thinks he is above the law when it comes to these sort of things. The country voted for change from the Bush-Cheney days and this guy is doing all he can to arm twist and basically mind-fuck the American public.
So, once again... DICK CHENEY...SHUT UP!
You and your people had your time and now it is our time... meaning the people of the United States and not your minority neo-con minded clique.
Breaking the law and then trying to justify it in the name of a "war on terror" or whatever else they want to call it these days is completely unacceptable.
If the Democratic party has any spine at all, a full investigation into the matter will be launched.
Can you imagine what Bush and Cheney would have done with 60 Senate votes and an overwhelming majority in the House of Representatives? Thank God that never happened when those two were in power.
The fact is the law was broken and Leon Ponetta, the current head of the CIA, disclosed that in fact Cheney himself was the man in charge of allowing the CIA to look at going around the world and assassinating other leaders of countries with alleged links to Al Queda and the Taliban.
However, Cheney at one time was himself condemning former CIA operative Val Plame and ultimately her identity was leaked out. Oh I see, that was okay to do and no harm, no foul but, Cheney can turn right around and say it's okay for the CIA to do these sort of things in secret because HE thinks so.
Don't let the United States Congress know about this. Hell, if they find out we'll all blown to smithereens by the terrorists. I could just see Cheney with that ugly sneer on his face now, bellowing words of that sort out to the CIA head honchos.
Hopefully, as this insipid plot thickens, the Democratic party, the super majority in Congress, will do the right thing and pursue legal action against all involved in this insanity.
It is time to do the right thing and let Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld, the CIA, etc. know that these things will not be tolerated.
We are a nation of laws ...not a nation of dictators.
Got it Dick!
Now do us all a favor and "Shut Up!"
And may justice be served.
