Obstructionists...
That is what the GOP has become in this day and age.
After eight long years of having things their own way as a result of the Bush and Cheney regime, these perennial cry babies continue to obstruct whatever it is the people of this country elected their representatives to do in Congress.
In fact, Senator Jim DeMint, a Republican from South Carolina, said that Republicans must make health care reform (President Barack Obama's) "Waterloo".
What the hell is that all about?
That sounds like malcontent and an interest in things other than what is good for the United States of America.
The real leader of the GOP, Rush Limbaugh said he hopes (President) Obama fails.
WTF?
If you are rooting for the President of the United States to fail, then you are rooting for the United States as a country to fail.
This country is called the United States of America, it is not the Corporate States of America as the GOP and their constituents would like to have it be.
These corporate cock suckers are just that.
They would sell their own mother down the river in order to make the fat cats richer at the expense of the American tax payer.
In all fairness, there is a growing sense of frustration with the way things have been going (really for the past forty or so years) on a downward spiral for this country.
President Obama seems to be backing down from the public option when it comes to health care reform and many people are steamed as a result of this latest (in) action and feel scorned by the man they helped to get into office on 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.
So once again, even though they are in a super minority role in both the House and Senate, Republicans continue to get their way as a result of their belly aching and the "woe is me" mentality they carry on with.
Don't even get started with those so called tea baggers.
These people are their own worst enemy.
The problem is they are indeed frustrated but, they don't know who to blame so they blame Obama because he is the current President of the United States.
Where were all these so called tea baggers when Bush & Cheney were wasting billions and billions and billions of taxpayer dollars with their illegal war in Iraq and all the other legislation they pushed that continues to give bigger and bigger tax breaks to companies that outsource good-paying American jobs overseas?
I have yet to hear anyone answer that one!
Point is these people who call themselves "conservatives" or GOP supporters can't handle that their guy is no longer in charge and they whine like babies about it.
Whether they take their cues from Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Bill O' Reilly, Sean Hannity, and so on, they are just parroting what it is they hear from the hard right on the issues of the day.
Things will never have the chance to improve if all the GOP wants to do is obstruct everything.
So, get a grip gang and try and do something for America for a change.
That is my advice to the GOP and if they don't want to play ball, then screw you.
Go away and stay away because this country we call the United States of America doesn't need people like that wandering the halls of Congress in our nation's capitol.
If Bush & Cheney ever had a super majority the way the Democratic party has these days, we as American citizens might all be out of jobs and living in squalor like the peasants in a Charles Dickens' tale.
That's what the hard right (and the GOP) want for the United States of America.
A two-class system.
God Damn the middle class and give us what we want because we are entitled to it.
To that, simply say "Screw You!"
This is the United States of America... not the Corporate States of America.
And we the people must keep it that way.
It's crazy, isn't it? They refuse to get anything accomplished, because they are not in charge. Wah. Big babies.
