Back Home In Old Kentucky

The Kentucky Wildcats wrapped up another NCAA
Championship and the school's first title since 1998 with a 67-59 win over Kansas on Monday night in New Orleans.
A balanced scoring attack, led by Doron Lamb's 22 points, paced the Wildcats (38-2) victory. Freshman Player of the Year Anthony Davis scored just six points, but grabbed 16 rebounds, had three steals, six blocked shots and even dished out five assists to lend a hand in the win.
Kentucky's Anthony Davis was named NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
Head Coach John Calipari (pictured above holding the trophy) notched his first NCAA championship title after falling short four years ago while coaching at Memphis.
Kansas (32-7) was led by Tyshawn Taylor (19 points) and Thomas Robinson, who scored 18 points and had 17 rebounds.
It was Kentucky's eighth NCAA title, second only to UCLA, which has won eleven championships.
