As the calendar rolls over into 2017, two familiar foes will go at it for the second consecutive year for the College Football Championship next Monday night.
The Alabama Crimson Tide steam rolled the Washington Huskies, 24-7 to advance in an attempt to repeat as the national champions. Meanwhile, the Clemson Tigers shut out the Ohio State Buckeyes, 31-0 to get back to the big game for the second consecutive year.
Early lines have the Tide favored by seven points (they beat Clemson 45-40 last year) which sounds about right.
Roll Tide!
