Former NBA player Kobe Bryant is dead at age 41 after a helicopter crash just outside Los Angeles, CA, it is being reported. Bryant's 13-year-old daughter Gianna and at least three others were also on board and died in the crash. Some reports stated there were as many as nine people killed in the crash.
Bryant starred for 20 seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers and helped the team win five NBA championships during the 2000s and beyond.
In addition, Bryant was an 18-time NBA All-Star and two-time NBA Finals Most Valuable Player along with being named the NBA's MVP in 2008.
