The abbreviated 60-game schedule around Major League Baseball is over and the playoffs are set with eight teams from each league getting into the act. The 2020 season was indeed a strange one (as it is with all sports) because of the COVID-19 virus but at least they finished the season and now it's time for the playoffs.
Back in the Heftyinfo preview for the season that began in late July, the picks for the World Series were the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers with the Bronx Bombers winning it all. Time for a revision. The pick for the World Series is the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. the Tampa Bay Rays with the upstart Rays winning it all.
