The MLBPA and MLB owners agreed to a five-year collective bargaining agreement and that ends the 99 day lockout of Major League Baseball players. 

There will be a 162 game season in 2022 and many other changes will be on tap as the season starts up in roughly one month. Free agency will begin in earnest in the next few days and Spring Training will get going as well as the 30 teams get ready to take the field for the 2022 MLB season.
