Milwaukee Brewers Win World Series

The Milwaukee Brewers won their first ever World Series title on Wednesday night with a 4-1 road win against the Tampa Bay Rays. The Brewers clinched the series in five games as starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski went 5 2/3 innings, allowing just two hits with one walk and two strikeouts.

It was just the second appearance in the Fall Classic for the Brewers with the only other time coming back in 1982 when they lost in seven games against the St. Louis Cardinals. But this season, the Brewers won a league best 103 games and went 11-2 in the post season behind timely hitting and a stellar bullpen.

The Most Valuable Player award went to Brewers catcher William Contreras as he finished the five games by going 6-for-19 (.316 batting average) with three RBI, one double, one run scored, one stolen base and two walks.

Congratulations to the MILWAUKEE BREWERS - 2026 World Series Champions !
