The Chicago Blackhawks are heading to the Stanley Cup

For the first time in 18 years, the Chicago Blackhawks are headed to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they will attempt to win the trophy and NHL championship title for the first time 1961.
The Blackhawks completed a 4-0 series sweep of the San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference Finals in Chicago with a 4-2 come from behind win on Sunday afternoon before a frenzied crowd.
Dustin Byfulien, who has been the latest hero for Chicago, scored the game winner with just over three minutes remaining and the Hawks added an empty net goal in the final minute to wrap things up and advance to the Finals.
Now it's between Philadelphia Flyers and Montreal Canadiens, battling for the Eastern Conference title, to determine the opponent for the Hawks. The Flyers lead the East series, three games to one.

  1. Great news. I hope they bring the Cup to Chicago. It has been an awesome year for them. At least Chicago has one team on the right track to winning a championship.
