At long last, the 2019 NFL season is ready to kick off this Thursday evening in Chicago when the Bears will host the Green Bay Packers in Soldier Field. This is the 100th Anniversary of the NFL and the Bears vs. the Packers is the league's oldest rivalry.
It should be an interesting season in 2019, especially with all the late trades and player movement as the teams cut their rosters down to 53 players. The biggest move was in Indianapolis where Colts starting quarterback Andrew Luck announced his retirement last week at age 29 due to multiple injuries that have taken their toll on him over the last seven years.
The defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and their 42-year old QB Tom Brady will host the Pittsburgh Steelers in the "prime time" Sunday night game to open the season. There are many questions to be answered as the weeks roll by until late December when the playoff spots will be decided.
So, here goes nothing as Heftyinfo picks the winners and losers in the 2019 NFL season.
