2010 MLB Post-Season Picks
The post-season in Major League Baseball is here and there are numerous possibilities as the playoffs get started October 6th with three games on tap.
The Philadelphia Phillies host the Cincinnati Reds in the National League while the Tampa Bay Rays host the Texas Rangers and the New York Yankees are at the Minnesota Twins.
The Atlanta Braves travel to play the San Francisco Giants to open that series on Thursday.
The Reds have not been to the playoffs in 15 years and the Phillies had the best record (97-65) in the league this season. The Phils are looking to win their second World Series title in the last three years.
The defending champion New York Yankees have a lot of work ahead of them if they want to repeat this year. In the spring, Heftyinfo picked the Yankees and Phillies to battle it out in the World Series with the Phillies winning it all.
No changes as we are sticking to our guns and staying with the Phillies to hoist the trophy after the Fall Classic.
Here are the selections...
NATIONAL LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES (Best of Five)
Phillies over Reds in 4 games; Giants over Braves in 5 games.
AMERICAN LEAGUE DIVISION SERIES (Best of Five)
Rays over Rangers in 5 games; Yankees over Twins in 4 games.
NLCS (Best of Seven)
Phillies over Giants in 6 games.
ALCS (Best of Seven)
Yankees over Rays in 7 games.
WORLD SERIES (Best of Seven)
Phillies over Yankees in 6 games.
