It's been a little while, but now is the time to expound on things going on in and around these United States of America. 

What the hell is going on with this radical extremist right wing Supreme Court of the United States? 

When the traitor Donald Trump was in office as president of the country, he appointed three morons to the SCOTUS and what a fucking disaster that has been. All three of these illegitimate justices (Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett) should not be there. In fact, they all should be recalled based on the actions of Trump with the coup attempt he led. 

Also illegitimate are bought and paid for justices Clarence Thomas (Bush, Sr. appointee) and Samuel Alito (Bush, Jr. appointee) who take gifts from billionaire types and diminish the character and integrity of our nation's highest court.

Yes, Trump was the unquestioned leader of a coup attempt of our national government. That took place on January 6, 2021 with the insurrection in Washington, D.C. and the "president" led the way all because he could not handle that he lost the 2020 election to current president Joe Biden.

That is treason my friends and Trump is a traitor to this country. 

Lock him up!

All the actions he did should immediately be repealed . . . the tax cuts for the rich as well as all three SCOTUS picks. Get rid of them as a result of the actions of traitor Trump and his illegitimate presidency. 

In other words, the United States Congress and the legal system need to grow a pair and do just that.

And while we're at it, how about those southern states attempting to enact all sorts of draconian laws? At least the ones regarding voter suppression have been ruled unconstitutional. But what about suppressing the rights of American citizens (LGBTQ) and the radical gun laws they propose? 

According to said political leaders in the red states, it's perfectly fine that children are murdered in cold blood in schools with military style weapons. Not just in schools, but also anywhere people go. Shopping malls, churches, grocery stores and many other public places have been make shift gun target ranges for the gun nuts that do the evil deeds. 

Just about one year ago (July 4, 2022) a lunatic in Highland Park, Illinois murdered and maimed dozens of people at a parade and with this year's 4th of July festivities just days away, many people are likely to be on edge as the holiday unfolds. How pathetic is that? The fact that too many "conservatives" just do not care about life in general says it all. These are many of the folks that still support Trump and his criminal insanity. 

Fact is he is facing (so far) 71 felony counts with many more still to come. That says it all folks. 

Time to end the madness once and for all.

The Debt Ceiling 'Crisis' Is A Republican Made Sham

There is no debt ceiling 'crisis.'

The Republican party creates this mess every time there is a President of the United States that is from the Democratic party. Look it up going back to mid-1990's when the repubs got control of the U.S. House of Representatives. 

The democratic led U.S. House (Nancy Pelosi as Speaker) did their constitutional order (14th Amendment which states that the debt of the country SHALL NOT BE QUESTIONED) and took care of the so called debt ceiling for Trump without making all the drama that current house speaker Kevin McCarthy (Republican-California) is doing right now. 

The Constitution 14th Amendment  states . . . The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned.

Apparently, the republicans DO NOT understand this. It is ordered by the U.S. Constitution for the Congress and Executive Branch to do just that. Pay the bills without question. 

WITHOUT QUESTION. 

In fact, President Biden called the republicans out in front of millions of people during the State of the Union address three months ago. No touching Social Security, Medicaid or Medicare as far as cuts go. They all agreed . . . So this is all on McCarthy and the republicans regarding the so called debt ceiling.

The media in this country doesn't help out either. The corporate controlled media keeps on pounding the drum over and over again that it is a 'debt ceiling crisis.' 

It isn't. 

It's a republican created scam that sets out to further screw over 99 percent of Americans while giving more and more to the richest people and the corporations. 

President Biden and democrats in Congress as well as the media need to call them out on their bullshit and end this charade once and for all.

CNN Is A National Embarrassment

CNN has become like Fox 'News' after the debacle that was the "town hall" with a traitor to the United States of America.

That so called news network had the audacity to let former president Donald J. Trump spew lie after lie in front of a carnival type crowd that razzed the host (a young lady) and in so doing has "jumped the shark" as a legitimate news source. 

The guy they let lie and lie and lie (a day after he was found guilty of sexual abuse in the E. Jean Carroll case) attempted a coup on our nation's government on January 6, 2021 and that fat bastard still isn't behind bars. 

Go figure. 

You don't give a platform to a traitor of the United States of America. 

Period. 

End of discussion.

Never Mind the Hype

 The NFL Draft for the 2023 season is over with and now it's time to move along and let the 32 NFL teams get ready for the next season. 

 

Never mind the hype. 

 

It gets old (at least to some it does) about all the what ifs and so on about which rookie player will do what once the next NFL season kicks off in September. Sure, it can be fun to anticipate all the players and the networks (ESPN, NFL Network, etc.) can sell all kinds of air time and make gobs of money, but what really matters is how the teams will do once the action begins. 

Never mind the hype. 

Games are not won on paper and never will be. The action on the playing field is where it all happens and that's the bottom line. The games are won and lost on the playing field. 

Until the teams begin training camp in July, it's about the NBA  and NHL playoffs and the Major League Baseball season for this sports fan. 

As for the NFL, wake me up and let me know where things are at in mid July. 

UCONN WINS COLLEGE BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

 

The Connecticut Huskies did it again as the men's basketball team defeated San Diego State, 76-59 to win the 2022-23 NCAA Men's College Basketball title. It is the school's fifth overall title in the sport, dating back to the 1999 championship team.
