The Raptors squandered a chance to wrap up the Finals in five games on Monday night in Toronto as they lost a one-point decision to force the sixth game back in Oakland and give the Warriors a chance.
But on Thursday night, the Raptors were not to be denied as the Warriors, already without Kevin Durant (torn Achilles tendon), lost Klay Thompson to a knee injury in the third quarter. Toronto showed resolve and rolled to the win as Leonard earned his second NBA Finals MVP in the last six years.
