Seattle Seahawks Win Super Bowl

The Seattle Seahawks won Super Bowl LX by a 29-13 score against the New England Patriots as Jason Myers kicked five field goals and tight end AJ Barner caught a 16-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Sam Darnold, who finished the winning effort with 202 passing yards. Seattle used a balanced offense to total 335 yards with 194 passing yards and 141 rushing yards, with running back Kenneth Walker III gaining 135 rushing yards on 27 carries, earning him Super Bowl Most Valuable Player honors. 

 

Meanwhile, the Seahawks defense forced three turnovers and had six quarterback sacks and also scored a touchdown on a 45-yard interception return by Uchenna Nwosu to make it 29-7 with 4:27 left in the game. The victory was the second Super Bowl title for the Seahawks in franchise history and the first in twelve years for the team.

The Patriots scores came on a 35-yard touchdown pass from QB Drake Maye (295 passing yards, two TD, two interceptions and one lost fumble) to wide receiver Mack Hollins and a seven-yard TD toss to running back Rhamondre Stevenson.
