So Trump gets to pick another candidate for the United States Supreme Court since Anthony Kennedy is retiring.
One question - Should Trump, who is under a federal investigation (Robert Mueller) be allowed to choose a candidate for the highest court in the land?
Think about that long and hard.
The answer is emphatically NO !
Let's wait until the investigation is completed, either clearing or convicting him.

I was thinking the same thing.
ReplyDeleteIt really is about the midterms. Taking back the House will happen. Getting control of the committees is the best hope for going on offense. Taking the Senate is a longshot, but I am hopeful.
ReplyDeleteJustice Kagan recused herself from quite a few Court decisions after she went on the Court - a surprising number, actually. We'll see whether the President's pick recuses himself from the inevitable cases coming the Court's way about the President. There's really nothing we can do if the new Justice doesn't, of course. Impeachment of a Justice is the longest of long shots.
