YANKEES CHAMPIONS ONCE AGAIN

Congrats to the New York Yankees, who defeated the Phildelphia Phillies in six games to capture their 27th World Series Championship. Hideki Matsui (pictured right) was named the World Series Most Valuable Player after driving in six runs in the decisive game.

  1. I was happy the Yankees won, but I really felt like Johnny Damon should have received the MVP. He had a consistent performance throughout the series and that third base steal is one for the record book.
