Al Davis, the longtime iconic owner of the Oakland Raiders, has died at the age of 82.
The renegade who helped pioneer the old American Football League in the 1960's helped wield the Oakland Raiders into one of professional sports most successful franchises, in particular from the late 1960's until the mid 1980's.
 The Raiders won three Super Bowl titles (1976, 1980 and 1983) during the tenure of Davis, who's mantra was the phrase synonymous with the Oakland Raiders... "Just Win Baby!"
