NFL - Week Nine Preview

The Steelers and the Ravens, called by some the "NFL's biggest rivalry" is on prime time Sunday night in Pittsburgh with first place in the AFC North on the line.
The Steelers were crushed 35-7 by Baltimore in Week One, but that was then and this is now.
The Ravens struggled to beat the Arizona Cardinals at home last weekend while the Steelers dominated the New England Patriots in their fifth straight win.
Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco must step up in this game because the Steelers pass defense is among the best in football this season. On the other side, the Ravens must contain an extremely hot QB in Ben Roethlisberger, who has led the way on offense in the Steelers' five-game win streak.
The Ravens-Steelers game is the marquee matchup this week ... the following capsules break down the rest of the action for Week Nine with the Heftyinfo predictions to follow.

NY Jets (4-3) at Buffalo (5-2) - The Jets are on a two-game win streak and shuffle off to Buffalo to play the surprising Bills, who are in first place in the AFC East.

Seattle (1-6) at Dallas (3-4) - Cowboys roll in this one.

Cleveland (3-4) at Houston (5-3) - The Texans have a shot at going three games over .500 for first time in franchise history. Wow!

Atlanta (4-3) at Indianapolis (0-8) - Seriously?

Miami (0-7) at Kansas City (4-3) - Upset alert? Don't rule it out in this one.

Tampa Bay (4-3) at New Orleans (5-3) - The battle for first place in the NFC South.

San Francisco (6-1) at Washington (3-4) - The 49ers have won five in a row while the 'Skins have dropped three straight. Something has to give.

Denver (2-5) at Oakland (4-3) - The Broncos should battle the Raiders, but will come up short.

Cincinnati (5-2) at Tennessee (4-3) - Who would have thought these two teams would BOTH be over .500 and contending for division titles at this point of the season?

St. Louis (1-6) at Arizona (1-6) - Yawn.

NY Giants (5-2) at New England (5-2) - The Super Bowl classic from four years ago? Nope... Patriots win this one in a rout.

Green Bay (7-0) at San Diego (4-3) - The Chargers continue to be their own worst enemy. The Packers simply don't make many mistakes. A recipe for disaster? Perhaps, but this game should go down to the wire.

Baltimore (5-2) at Pittsburgh (6-2) - Should be a great game... Steelers in a squeaker.

Chicago (4-3) at Philadelphia (3-4) - Eagles are rolling and the Bears' defense seems to be getting amped up as the season goes along.
